Windrush 75

In 2024, we celebrated the 75th anniversary of Windrush.

Our client, TfL, wanted to wrap a bus and produce posters to commemorate the occasion. They came to us hoping for some inspiration.

I went searching for a talented illustrator with family and heritage linked to Windrush and after some rounds of interviews and many portfolios, we started working with Baraka Carberry. Her incredible style leant itself so well to creating this mural design.

I worked closely with her on getting the composition, colours and elements correct for the client, and then once she had finished, I worked on creating posters and recomposing the individual elements to wrap a TfL bus. The results speak for themselves!
